1 Players 2 to 4, each with 4 tokens and a color. 1

2 Equipment A cross-shaped board, tokens, and one die. 2

3 Goal Get your tokens out of home, around the board, and into the center before the others. 3

4 Play Roll the die and move a token by the pips. You need a 6 to release a token from home, and a 6 gives you another roll. Land on an opponent token and it goes back home. 4

5 Winning The first to bring all four tokens to the center wins. 5

Tips

Spread your moves

Don't race one token and leave the rest at home. You want options.

Stay out of reach

A token six squares or fewer ahead of an opponent is in danger.

Rest on safe squares

Nobody can hit you on the marked squares.

Blocks

At many tables two tokens on one square form a block nobody can pass.

Exact finish

Some tables need an exact roll to enter the center.
