Tawleh (backgammon) is a two player board game, played as mahbusa, 31, and everything in between. Dice, strategy, and a bit of luck, and it is the game that goes best with coffee and conversation.

How to play
Players: 2.
Equipment: A board of 24 points, 15 checkers each, and two dice.
Goal: Move your checkers around the board into your home area, then bear them all off before your opponent.
Play: Each turn roll the dice and move your checkers by the pips. A double lets you play the number four times. You can hit a lone checker and send it back to the start.
Variants: The most popular are mahbusa, 31, and the plain game, each with its own way to start and to trap checkers.
Winning: The first to bear off all their checkers wins the round.
